Closing arguments are scheduled to resume this morning at the criminal trial of Bruce and Donna Montague.
Yesterday, Montague’s lawyer, Doug Christie wrapped up his
defense of his client.
Christie says Montague was a very responsible and conscientious gunsmith, who never had an accident.
He suggests the charges against Bruce and Donna Montague are bizarre beyond comprehension and claims the crown is trying to overwhelm the jury with its long list of charges.
Crown attorney Peter Keen is expected to present his final arguments this morning.
