3-Hicks and Lawrence pilots are back home after their small plane went down near Armstrong Friday.
The Aero Commander was en route from Dryden to Geraldton when it experienced ‘reduced power’ and was forced to land in a clearing.
The Dryden Bush Pilot suffered a broken leg, while the 2-other occupants were not seriously hurt.
The trio spent 7-hours in minus 30-degree temperatures before they were rescued by a military crew from Winnipeg.
Peter Hildenbrand of the Transportation Safety Board says they were in Dryden reviewing the files on the weekend and officials are expected to arrive at the crash site sometime Wednesday.
Hildenbrand says at that point they will determine if a formal investigation will be launched.
