It’s about growing the economy in Northwestern Ontario.
That’s the focus of Monte McNaughton who has joined the race to replace former PC leader Tim Hudak.
McNaughton believes the north has been ignored.
He says he wants to address high energy bills and the fact jobs are leaving northern Ontario.
He plans to visit Thunder Bay in the next couple of weeks.
McNaughton is the second candidate to officially declare after Christine Elliott.
He’s determined to build what he calls a modern Progressive Conservative party.
