Zechner Wins “The Next Star” Competition

Jory Zechner of Nipigon is the winner of the seventh season of Canada’s “The Next Star” on YTV.
The 15-year old female singer captured the crown during a live broadcast from Canada’s Wonderland with 3.5 million votes cast from across the country.
Zechner wins a $5,000 shopping spree courtesy of Sears, a recording deal and an Epiphone Masterbilt Acoustic guitar.
