A Montreal man has been identified as the victim of a fatal two vehicle collision on Highway 17 Monday morning.
The crash, west of Kenora, claimed the life of the driver of a sedan, 31-year-old Jason Vallieres-Cote.
A female passenger was transported to hospital with injuries.
Two people in a pick-up truck sustained minor injuries.
The cause remains under investigation.
The collision occured around 7:30am near Gundy Lake Road and forced the closure of the Trans-Canada highway for a good chunk of the day.
