Moose Decline Heat #2

Warmer weather in the Kenora area is being blamed for

the increase in deer, and a drop in the moose population.

Ministry Of Natural Resources Biologist Scott Mcaughey

expects more deer tags to be available this fall.

Mcaughey adds the moose population is suffering because

of deadly parasites found on deer, such as Giant Liver

Fluke, and Brain Worm.
