Moose Hunters Fined

6-Southern Ontario moose hunters have been fined $1,500 after pleading guilty to leaving a hunt camp on Crown Land in the Dryden Area.
The men were all hit with a $250 fine, however voluntarily cleaned up the site by removing the wooden building frame, cots, stove, beds, sink, countertop, waterline and all garbage before their court date.
The illegal camp was spotted by Conservation Officers near Basket Lake Road, outside Dryden.
