15,000 adult Moose tags were sent out yesterday but for those who applied and won’t get one there is still another chance.
Over 500 surplus tags are available in Dryden and area and MNR Spokesperson Fraya Long says hunters can easily apply for the extra tags.
There was a decline in the number of applications for Moose tags in 2004.
Long says 100,000 hunters applied for tags this year, down 2,000 from the year before.
