Moose Watch Line Buzzing

It’s been a busy first month for the Moose Watch Hotline in Northern Ontario.
The Ministry of Natural Resources activated the toll-free telephone service a month ago and so far over 40 tips have been received and 50 charges laid.
MNR Spokesperson Charlie Todesco says things are hectic with the Moose hunting season now open across the Region.
So far, 3 charges have been laid for unlawfully hunting moose.
Another 3 animals have been discovered shot and abandoned.
