The president of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario is warning a resumption of contract talks with the province and schools boards had better be respectful and serious.
The union will meet with negotiators from the province and the Ontario Public School Boards Association September 1st.
Addressing teachers at their annual meeting, ETFO president Sam Hammond is critical of how OPSBA and the province has responded so far.
Hammond says if it doesn’t happen, the province and schools boards will be in for the fight of their lives.
