The federal NDP say they are prepared to work with first nations and
the provincial government to get the Ring of Fire moving.
New Democrat candidate in the Kenora Riding Howard Hampton suggests the
Harper Government really have abandoned their role in the project by saying they have been absent from talks.
Hampton doesn’t say what kind of money the NDP would commit to the Ring of Fire,
but says they would be willing to work closely with area first nations to get the ball rolling.
