More Details on Bowater Closure

Bowater says the closure of the ‘A’ Kraft Mill in Thunder Bay is
regrettable but necessary.
The Mill has been in operation since 1966 but will close at the end of
April because of high energy and fibre costs.
Company Spokesperson Don Campbell says the McGuinty Liberals need to
do more to protect the industry and local communities.
Campbell stresses the window of opportunity to correct the problems in the forest industry may close, if action is not taken now.
The closure will result in the loss of 280-jobs.
