More Evacuees Returning Home

Nearly 400-residents of Sandy Lake First Nation and Fort Hope First Nation are being allowed to return home today.
The forest fire situation continues to improve near both communities.
Most of the returning evacuees from Sandy Lake are first responders who are being sent back to get the community back up and running.
Emergency Management Ontario Spokesperson Joanne Stewart says additional returns will be determined on a day-by-day basis.
Some 3,400 people are still staying in 13-host communities.
