Our province continues to support forest fire suppression efforts in British Columbia.
Ontario has sent an additional 88 personnel to the western province to help in what is now B.C’s worst fire season on record.
They join 110-provincial fire staff already working in the area.
The fire hazard in northwestern Ontario is mainly low to moderate, with some pockets of high.
There are 37-active fires, two considered not under control.
Three new small blazes sparked in our area on Wednesday.
