It could have been worse!
Ministry of Environment Officials along with the Northwestern Health Unit say mother nature cooperated as emergency crews cleaned up the leak last night and early this morning.
Emergency personel were helped by calm winds which shifted the toxic gas away from the city.
Chlorine Dioxide causes respitory problems and settles in low lying area.
The gas is severley irritating on contact and can be corrosive to the eyes, skin, nose and throat.
