More Good News in Atikokan

A new deal has been reached between the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union and the Atikokan Proboard Mill.
Workers have voted 93% in favour of the 5 year agreement.
The operation was acquired last month by B.C. based Fibre-Tech after it went into receivership last Fall.
A CEP Spokesperson says plans call for the new owner to take possession of the Mill next week.
Its expected to take another 4 to 6 weeks to get the facility back to operational shape.
