A federal awareness campaign on Canada’s underground economy is reaching out to Confederation College Students.
The National Revenue Minister Keith Ashfield was in Thunder Bay on Thursday to talk about the damage the underground economy has on Canada.
Ashfield says working under that table causes a lot of problems like lost revenue.
He adds under the table work puts consumers at risk because shoddy work can’t be insured.
