More Needed to Help Aboriginals

The Provincial Governments “New Approach” plan contains more
consultation but no action to help First Nation communities.
That from Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson who claims the Liberals
are doing little to help aboriginals.
Speaking in the Legislature, Bisson says the Government could begin
with the simplest of actions.
He wants the Grits to move on Bill 97 which would give First
Nation communities a chance to share in resource-based projects.
Bisson adds that First Nation communities received no money in the
recent round of infrastructure funding.
