The Kenora Forest Products sawmill will be curtailing
its operations for an indefinate period starting February
28th.
Manager Rod McKay says they regret having to make this
decision, but notes the demand for stude lumber in the US
has all but dissappeared.

Planing operations will continue until all rough dry
stock is finished and ready for shipping.
The curtailment of all operations and its associated
layoffs are temporary.
