More Rain Needed In Region

A restricted fire zone remains in place throughout Northwestern Ontario.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says despite some rain over the weekend, it was not enough and more is needed.
Environment Canada is calling for a chance of showers today with more precipitation expected later in the week.
The MNR notes if anyone is caught with an open fire during the ban, they could face fines or even a possible jail term.
