More Roster Moves For Ice Dogs/Miners

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs continue to tinker with their line-up.

The Ice Dogs have added some help on the blueline.

The club has acquired 18-year-old Michael Sande from the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners from the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.

The product of Mission, B.C. is 6’1, 194-pounds.

Sande dressed in 12-games for the Gold Miners this season and registered an assist and 12-penalty minutes.

He played 8-games in Coquitlam, B.C. last season.

Dryden GM has also landed a stay-at-home defenceman, 19-year-old Nicholas Caputo from the Valley Wildcats in the Maritime Junior Hockey team.

Caputo is 6’3, 205-pounds and is from Troy, Michigan.

He played with the Woodstock Slammers last season.

The Ice Dogs have also parted ways with forward Cam Lockard.

The English River Miners have also made a move, picking up Nic Herringer from the Drayton Valley Thunder in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Herringer is 6’0, 176-pounds and is from Calgary.

In 12-games with the Thunder this season, the forward recorded 2-assists and 4-penalty minutes.

He played in the KIJHL in B.C. last year.
