A Successful Season Comes To An End For Eagles Football Team

The curtain has closed on the season for the Dryden Eagles High School Football team.

The Eagles lost a back-and-forth 29-19 Quarter-Final game Friday afternoon in Winnipeg against the Vincent Massey Vikings.

After falling behind early 14-0, Dryden battled back to take a 19-14 second half lead.

However, the Brandon team flexed their muscles late to advance to the Semi-Final.

The Eagles still ended the season with the fewest points allowed with 42, while Quarter-Back Jarett Hicks finished third in overall scoring.

This was also Dryden’s first year in the ‘AA’ Division.
