More Time Needed to Support Project

Another Municipality is taking some time before giving its blessing to Bending Lake Iron’s Steep Rock mine and processing plant in the Ignace and Atikokan area.
Chief Executive Officer Henry Wetelainen approached Thunder Bay Council on Monday and says they would appreciate the seal of approval.
Wetelainen says Council’s approval is part of the environmental assessment.
Council will vote on a resolution of support at it’s November 7th meeting.
Dryden has also held off on a vote.
