More Washouts on Highway 17

Another section of Highway 17 east of Nipigon has collapsed.
Ministry of Transportation Spokesman Larry Lambert says it’s the fourth major washout in a week.
Lambert says the washout is the result of water damage caused by heavy rain eroding the foundation last weekend.
A large culvert is damaged and needs to be replaced.
Motorists can expect 1-15 minute delay’s.
