Environment Canada says as much as 12 centimetres of snow has fallen on some areas of Sunset Country as a winter storm warning continues across the region.
Forecaster Ron Morrow says it is not that unusual to have snow in May and adds much of it is melting as it hits the ground since some warmth has built up in recent weeks.
Meantime, OPP are not recommending travel along the Highway 17 corridor this morning adding slushy road conditions are making for tricky driving conditions.
