The Ontario legislature resumes sitting today for the first time since before Christmas.
However, Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton is not expecting a lot from the new Ernie Eves government in the throne speech this afternoon.
Hampton says although Eves is making himself out to be a kinder and gentler version of Mike Harris, he feels there is little difference.
Hampton believes this legislative session will be short-lived and predicts a slight deficit in the budget this year.
