Greg Rickford says he’s very disappointed that the twinning of the Trans Canada Highway between Kenora and the Manitoba boundary hasn’t moved forward.
The Kenora MP says the feds have done what they can and now the ball is in the province’s court.
Rickford says the province is sitting on all of the resources that the feds have invested.
Rickford adds he’s baffled as to why Highway 17 isn’t twinned right now.
He is hoping communities align themselves with the best interests of safety and economic development.
