MP Comments Upset Conservative Association

The President of the Kenora Conservative Association says he’s
surprised by comments made by MP Roger Valley stating First Nation and other
regional issues should be higher on the Government’s agenda.
Kevin Ede says its amazing that after 12-years of inaction on many
aboriginal programs under Liberal majorities, some grits see nothing
wrong with slamming the new government for not doing enough in 12-short
months.
He adds government officials were in Dryden and Kenora last month to
meet with local politicians and first nation leaders and gave out $22-million.
Ede says we need an MP who is fully engaged in finding solutions to our
problems and not one who play’s partisan politics.
