MPP Has Wishlist For Provincial Budget

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell has high hopes for the provincial budget, which will be released on May 2nd.
Campbell says one of her areas of concern is home health care, adding that she’s heard stories from people across the region that they have had to wait months and months for home care services. In addition, Campbell has heard the public outcry about auto insurance premiums.
Campbell says the changes that were made in 2010 haven’t resulted in any big changes for the most part.
Being in Northwestern Ontario, Campbell notes that we don’t have as much access to public transportation, therefore more people are using their vehicles to get around and are paying high premium rates.
The third item for Campbell is to see the government close some of the corporate tax loopholes so that big companies are on the same playing field as everyone else.
