MPP Reacts To Bartolucci Decision

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell admits she was a regular sparing partner with Northern Development Minister Rick Bartolucci.
The Sudbury area MPP has announced he’s leaving his cabinet post.
Campell says sometimes it was challenging to raise important issues facing the north.
Campbell did take time to thank Bartolucci for his years of service.
She says she’s hopeful that with having a new Minister of Northern Development and Mines, we will see some progress on some mining projects in the north.
Campbell stresses that mining is the future of this region and notes the government hasn’t done enough to encourage its growth.
Campbell was a guest speaker at the Kenora District Municipal Association conference in Dryden this morning.
