It’s going to be a working weekend for the Ontario government.
Legislators will be at Queen’s Park throughout the weekend debating the government’s back to work bill for College teachers.
MPP Arthur Potts called out the NDP’s decision yesterday to block it.
“We know why we are here. The only reason we are here is because the NDP party is blocking students from going back to school. This is a shameful display Speaker because they are playing politics with students.”
MPP’s have set aside time from one until six tomorrow and Sunday. Tomorrow the second reading is expected while Sunday is hoped for the third and final reading.
It’s expected teachers could be back in the classroom sometime next week.
