The province is ending a highway maintenance contract with a company doing work in northwestern Ontario.
A ministry of Transportation release says Transfield Services and the Ministry have agreed to end its contract for the Kenora service area as of this August.
The Ministry is now seeking out a new contractor.
The Ministry does not immediately explain the reason for the move, but Transfield was among companies criticized and fined for poor road conditions last winter.
The company also maintains highway in the Rainy River district.
