MTO Predicting Labour Day for Highway 17

The Ministry of Transportation says it will likely be the labour day
weekend before it can repair a section of Highway 17 west of Kenora.
A long stretch of the Trans-Canada was damaged by heavy rain earlier
this month and has been reduced to 1-lane of traffic.
The MTO says its working on a solution to the long line-ups.
Over the weekend, some people had to wait over an hour to get through
the temporary traffic lights.
