A massive two million dollar fundraising campaign to build a new multi-purpose events centre in Red Lake is underway.
Alannah Setchell is the Chair of the Regional Events and Cultural Hub and says the group is made up of locals who are all passionate about the growing up of Red Lake and the surrounding area.
Setchell says she got into the project since she thinks the Red Lake area is an amazing place to live and she’s proud to be a part of a project that creates many opportunities to bring together the community.
The proposed facility features an arena, walking track, a large atrium, seniors space, fitness centre, weight room and a spacious multi-purpose area.
