Multiple Charges Laid Against Fort Frances Woman

A drunk Fort Frances woman put up quite the fight in Sioux Lookout last Sunday.
OPP say the accused entered a Princess Street home, assaulted two people and caused damage to some property.
Police say the woman put up a brief struggle when she was placed under arrest.
She proceeded to spit blood in an officers face.
OPP say 23-year-old Ashley Heather Beardy faces 10-charges including assaulting police, assaulting police with a weapon, assault, assault with a weapon, resisting arrest and uttering threats.
Beardy will appear in Court on Friday.
