Ontario Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout have laid multiple charges over the past couple days.
Police say in the early morning hours on Thursday they executed a warrant at an address in Hudson.
Police then say as a result of the warrant being executed, 23-year-old Joseph Laplante and 27-year-old Chantel Lozej were charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
Officers say the accused will appear in court on January 9th.
Meanwhile Sioux Lookout OPP also say they conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on Fifth Avenue at 4:30 Friday morning.
Police say the driver’s breath samples were over the legal limit of alcohol in his blood and he was subsequently charged.
Officers also say the accused faces charges of obstructing a peace officer and failing to comply with his recognizance.
28-year-old Lanny Mekanak was scheduled to appear in court today.
