Municipal Debate Day!

Four communities in Sunset Country are hosting debates tonight as we prepare for the November 10th Municipal Elections.
In Dryden, the forum begins at 7 at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Anne Krassilowsky, Brian England and Shawn Kereliuk are vying for Mayor, while 10 people are going for 6 Counil seats.
In Ignace, Mayoral candidates Suzanne Smith, Hugh Broughton and Al Ruzecki will debate the issues at 6:30 at Ignace School.
9 are going for 4 Council seats there.
Dunc Wilson and Phil Vinet will discuss the issues affecting Red Lake residents as the Mayoral candidates meet alongside the 10 Council hopefuls at 7:00 at the Legion.
In Atikokan, the evening gets underway at 7 at the Moose Hall, with Dennis Brown, Robert Davidson and Bill Bell all running for the Mayor’s position and 9 more are going for the 6 seats on Council.
