Municipal Election Updates

The deadline to enter the municipal election is months away, but candidates are slowly starting to come out of hiding.
Machin’s current mayor, Gary Parkes, will be re-running for Mayor.
Atikokan has no council members yet, but Mike Lewis will be running for the school board.
Also, Member of City Council, Susan Williams will be running for Mayor of Sioux Lookout.
Nobody has filed papers yet in Ignace or Red Lake.
