OPP Reminds Residents to Stay Safe this Spring

Spring is just around the corner and temperatures are rising.
Dryden and Ignace Ontario Provincial Police say it is unwise to risk going onto the ice as weather continues to warm up.
OPP would like to remind residents to be cautious of open water with ice still present as the ice is very unpredictable at this time of year and can quickly change during the course of the day.
Police say if you don’t know the condition of the ice – stay home.
