Murder Charge In Fort Severn First Nation

A 19-year-old man from Fort Severn First Nation is facing a charge of second-degree-murder.
Nishnawbe-Aski Police were called Monday about an assault at a Fort Severn home.
Police say 24-year-old Georgina Beck Stoney was taken to the nursing station where she died from her injuries.
As a result, Police say Tommy Raymond Miles Junior was arrested.
Provincial Police are assisting in the investigation.
