A number of local Indigenous hockey teams have converged on Kenora for the North American First Nations Tournament of Champions.
Teams come from all across Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba are in competition.
Games will be played at both the Kenora and Keewatin arenas.
Over 30 teams are entered into the tournament in three categories including the oldtimer division, women’s division and men’s division.
Things kick off Thursday at 5:45, games at both arenas.
The tournament will wrap up Sunday.
