Condolences are coming in for the 34-year-old woman who was struck by a trailer hitch in a drive-by assault in Thunder Bay.
Barbara Kentner was hit in the stomach in the incident back in January and died Tuesday in hospital.
The Nishnawbe Aski Nation and the Ontario Native Women’s Association say they are deeply saddened by her passing.
NAN says that they must all work together now to acknowledge that racism exists and it must be taken seriously.
A young mother died today, and a young girl is without her mother – this should not happen @DGCAnnaBetty https://t.co/rzy0F3DRQs pic.twitter.com/FIOVGTMtoQ
