NAN Chief Ready to Get Down to Business

Majority or minority government, the results of last Thursday’s Provincial election don’t matter to Nishnawbe Aski Grand Chief Stan Beardy.
He says NAN is willing to work with any government in the province regardless of the party, but says this time it will be different.
Beardy plans to push harder for respect of NAN land and treaty rights.
Beardy says he’s hoping for some meaningful dialogue.
