Coach Joe West has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
West received without a doubt the best effort of the year from his team Sunday as the Dryden Ice Dogs dismantled the Iron Range Iron Heads 13-0.
Chris Belhumer scored his first SIJHL goal in the first period and then added two more for the hat trick.
Jesse Linner, Ian Schachte, Dallas Allaire and Thomas Greene each scored a pair of goals.
Tom Kuhn and Bryce Maggrah added singles.
Kim Wildhaber, playing in his first SIJHL game, made 15 saves for the shutout win.
Dryden peppered 55 shots on net.
In other action, the Thunder Bay North Stars beat up on Duluth 8-1.
