NAN Leader Anxious to Meet With Prime Minister

The Grand Chief of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation is hopefull for productive discussions in Tuesday’s talks with the Federal Government.
Stan Beardy and other First Nations leaders are sitting down with Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Beardy says a renewed partnership with the Government is badly needed.
Beardy says when they signed treaties, they expected to be treated as equals.
He notes his people need better training so they can benefit from future natural resource development.
