NAN Nominations Close

There are 3 candidates in the upcoming 2006 Nishinawbe-Aski Nation
election for Grand Chief.
Incumbant Stan Beardy, Brian Davey and Mike Metatwabin are vying for the top post.
Electoral Officer Larry Amos says there are 9 candidates running for
three Deputy Grand Chief Positions.
The election will take place August 3rd in Sachigo Lake First Nation.
