NAN Women’s Forum

The 4th annual Nishnawbe-Aski Nation Women’s Training Forum is underway in Thunder Bay.
Deputy Grand Chief Mike Metatawabin says its an empowering event that gives a voice to NAN women.
Metatawabin says drug and alcohol abuse is definitely the greatest issue facing his people.
The forum offers workshops on a number of topics including self defence, parenting, violence and education.
