NAN Working With Federal Government

Negotiations are ongoing between Nishnawbe-Aski Nation and the Federal Government.
NAN Spokesperson Ben Cheechoo says they’re discussing what type of governance model would work best for area First Nations.
Cheechoo says talks should pick up now that there’s a Majority Federal Government.
He warns it will take years to implement a Governance model for aboriginal communities.
