National Chief Says Racism Remains A Problem In Canada

The National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations says racism in Canada must end.

Perry Bellegarde says it’s not just a First Nations problem but a national one.

He says it’s up to everyone to work together to find a solution.

Speaking at an Assembly of Chiefs meeting, Bellegarde also made specific mention of the recent deaths of Indigenous people in Thunder Bay.
