National Inquiry Walk Comes To An End

First Nation members continue to call for a national inquiry into the country’s missing and murdered aboriginal women.

A group of walkers led by New Osnaburgh First Nation Chief Connie Gray-McKay capped off their 650-kilomtre walk honouring First Nation women in Thunder Bay Friday.

Gray-McKay hopes the walk catches the attention of the Federal Government.

She says their families deserve answers and the government can no longer ignore the issue.

The 20 men and women began their trek on May 9th in New Osnaburgh and made stops in Sioux Lookout, Dinorwic and Kakabeka Falls.
